Assets and the investors who hold them are subject to rules that differ by jurisdiction and change over time. This module provides configurable compliance wrappers for both: asset wrappers that align a tokenised asset with the requirements for its class in a given jurisdiction, and investor wrappers that apply the eligibility and treatment for a given investor. Crucially, the wrappers are maintained, so as a jurisdiction's rules change, the wrappers are updated and assets and investors stay aligned with current regulation.
How it connects
Regulatory Wrappers supply the per-jurisdiction rule sets the Compliance Engine enforces. They wrap both the asset and the investor, and are kept current as regulations change, so compliance stays aligned to the law over the asset's life.
